hard to believe how little he was...he is under 3 weeks in this video.

A Walk In the Rain

I'm carrying Christopher in a Mei Tai Baby with a print that my mom chose (owls). He's still a little short for it, so all you see are his eyes. Or one eye.

It was pouring out, but we were going a little stir-crazy. He fell asleep about 10 minutes into the walk.

Standing!

Such head control! And so tall!

Disaffected Youth

Cool outfit

...from Target.

He wore this with his Red! Pants! And came home in an entirely different outfit, having massively pooped through everything--thus ruining my favorite Red! Pants! Alas.

who're you calling big head?

Extreme CLOSE UP

...and falling down

sitting up!

We've tried to replicate this, but he's not so happy to comply. He is wearing babylegs, which Bill thinks are dangerously close to legwarmers.

4 month shots

Coming home...so tired.

edited to add: He has other clothes--this was the same day as his first day of school

Cookie Loves Milk

First day of school!

OK, it's daycare, but I like to call it school. In any case, I was very set on having him wear these red pants.

Same to you, different to us

There is a fair amount of navel-gazing that you indulge in as a parent. I never understood how I could get 200 pictures of one child--when each picture seemed just about the same to me. I kind of get it now.

(These are from the previous incarnation of this blog.)

My Cheeks they are puffy

Puffy cheeks!

Interview: Comments on the California Wildfires

Christopher's thoughts on the wildfires in California, mostly conveyed through interpretive dance. Note his look of concern when he learns that his Aunt Lynn is  miles from the wildfires.

skwish

Ah, success! Christopher has discovered how to get the skwish into his mouth without poking his eye out.

More pictures to be uploaded at some point.
